Cherai Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala. It is a long golden sandy beach extending for 10 kilometers, famous by families for its ideal wind conditions and good restaurants. The place is a unique combination of sea and backwaters rimmed by lush green coconut palms and paddy fields. The backwaters are a combination of lakes, lagoons, and canals .
